These class hours will be primarily reserved for lectures and examples. Office hours and discussion time will be be scheduled 30 minutes prior to each class for those inclined for that sort of thing.

Do I need to have any previous experience or knowledge to attend this class?
Curiosity is the only real pre-requisite!
Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes. Folks will have access to view recordings of the classes up to 4 weeks after the final session.
Will you cover XY subject in class?
There will be time reserved in the final session for students to suggest topics, so anything you don’t see explicitly offered in the syllabus can potentially get squeezed in the final session on request.
Can I get some kind of discount
There will be 2 discount tickets available for folks with extenuating circumstances. These tickets are reserved primarily for folks who live outside of US and Eurozone. Discount ticket holders will be expected to do additional TA work for class sessions and will get their tickets revoked if they bail on these responsibilities.
What is your refund policy if for some important and valid reason I can’t particpate in the class?
Full refunds up to 1 week before class begins, 50% refund from 1 week til first class, no refund after first class.

About the instructor
I’ve been designing my own personal video synthesis systems for over 10 years including desktop software for normal ass computers & embedded systems firmware for tiny ass computers like raspberry pi. I’ve been teaching video synthesis and feedback techniques for over 7 years through Phase Space, Phase Shift, and now Polyphase Portal. I’ve done workshops and guest lectures at NYU, SVA, Hamilton College, Calarts, Wesleyan, University of Oregon, Temple University, Coaxial Art Foundation, Feed Media Art Center, and many more.
I currently live in New Haven, CT and if consumption implies constitution, am roughly 30% balkan roasted eggplant spreads and 40% polish style pickled vegetables.
